Sooo I’ve been away from Tumblr a long, long time. Why did I stop looking at it? It’s the most user UNFRIENDLY thing ever. I can’t remember how to post a note to someone’s post? But yall post lovely things here so I shall remember to look more often.
I have something to admit that I’m really, really ashamed about. We don’t have cable, and I was flipping through the channels on a late Saturday night, I saw that NBC plays The Hills after SNL. Since we only get like 4-5 channels, I thought I would check this thing out. I know it’s fake and all, but what harm could it do? Long story short, I became a little intrigued and decided the watch it on Netflix. Overall the characters are pretty vapid and dumb. At first I fell in love with Whitney Port, because she is so nerdy and unlike all the other stupid girls. Sadly, once I watched a couple episodes of “The City” I saw that she was pretty lame. At first I thought she was pretty airhead/foolish, but I slowly fell in love with… Lauren Conrad. I KNOW!!! What am I saying?!?!?! But from season 2 onward, she makes smart, adult decisions… and she’s just someone that I think almost any girl can relate to. And she also happens to have really good style. Especially her hair and make up.
The story of Heidi Montag is kinda brilliant. It’s something that really happens to all girls. As much as we DON’T want to admit it, I think many girls lose some friendships when they have a serious boyfriend. There’s no reason for boyfriends and best friends to get along. And poor Heidi Montag had to “fall in love” with a pretty awful one. It’s really sad because (again season 2 onward) you can tell that she was/is a smart girl. And if you look at season 1/2, before the surgery, she was so pretty and cute. But relationships really do change us. Hopefully for the better, but sometimes it’s for the worse.
ghfjdkghfdjkgkjd I can’t believe I’m talking about The Hills. Every other girl is dumb on this show and not worth talking about. And I don’t think I would recommend watching this show to anyone. But it might make a decent screenplay.
Quick, suggest something cool to me so I can regain SOME street cred. Maybe I need to re-watch Twin Peaks…
